- PT Darma Henwa Tbk (“the Company”) established in 1991.
- The Company was established as a Foreign Capital Investment (PMA) Company based in Jakarta, in 1996.
- The Company’s scope of activities are providing contract expertise in heavy equipment, bulk earthworks, general mining, construction, civil engineering and plant maintenance.
- Henry Walker Eltin (HWE) sold the Company in May 2005.
- In March 2007 the Company was awarded life of mine at Bengalon, East Kalimantan and contract for Asam-Asam, South Kalimantan. Prior to that, the Company was Awarded USD1.25 Billion Bengalon Contract in May 2004.
- Since September 2007, the Company’s shares have been listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). So the shareholders structure becomes:
- Zurich Assets International Ltd (75.3%)
- PT Indotambang Perkasa (4%)
- Public (20.7%)
