As part of KPC’s Bengalon Project, PT Darma Henwa was contracted to construct a 22.5 km all weather haul road from mining areas to port facilities including a bridge crossing. In addition to this, PT Darma Henwa was also required to construct fuel facilities, offices, workshop, camp accommodation to support the initial mine operations.

Client : PT Tanito Harum
Contract Values : US$ 34 Million
Contract Period : June 2001 – Jan 2006
PT Tanito Harum contracted PT Darma Henwa to carry out of complete mining package to mine per year 7 Mbcm of overburden and mine 600 Kt of coal from their Pondok Labu and Central Busang Mining areas.
Work involved land clearing, soil stripping, waste removal, drilling, blasting, coal cleaning and loading clean coal direct onto haulage vehicles for transport to the client. The clients processing and barge loading area at Loa Tebu on the Mahakam river.
PT Darma Henwa provided a full mining and civil engineering services package including:
• Project administration
• Mining Equipment
• Fleet Maintenance
• Supervision and Personnel
