PT Darma Henwa Tbk has committed in improving health  on a regular basis to all employees. Our targets are reduce occupational disease prevalence rate, improve productivity, reduce cost related to employee health, and optimize employee health and mental well-being.

Continuous improvement and surveillance of work environment are performed to  minimize negative health effects from noise, mining dust, and vibration. Cooperation with government in conducting workplace measurement becomes a routine program in continuous efforts of compliance applicable standard and regulations.

Safety

PT Darma Henwa Tbk are considered that health and safety of employees are the most valuable resource, by prioritizing this within all operational aspect of company.

We take our commitment to creating safe working place as conducted the following :
•    Managing and controlling all potential risk from any work activities.
•    Set up all work activities which complied with safety national regulation or standard.
•    Ensure all workers performing job safely as in company  procedures.
•    Promoting safety behavior among workers and subcontractors.
•    Implement safety program such as accident prevention program

In 2009 and 2010, target “Zero Fatality” are successfully achieved, and it stil continue until mid of 2011. Under HSE Department, any accident and incident prevention program have been implemented based on  annual objectives, targets, and programme.

Environment

Since our scope business in mining operations, environmental impacts, pollution, biodiversity become important issues. Therefore, PT Darma Henwa Tbk managing environmental sustainability, including biodiversity and restore ex-mining areas into stable, safe, and productive areas.

Any important environmental aspects (i.e. hydrocarbons, waste, and reclamation including the quality of water, mine acid water, and revegetation) has been manage that continually  implemented to ensure conformity of environmental quality standards and regulation (water, dust and noise).

PT Darma Henwa Tbk always commits to fulfill yearly target area rehabilitation and  no environmental impact issues in all its sites.


QHSE Policy

QHSE policy is a brief description of  our commitment in providing best service and managing health, safety, and environment which integrates quality management system, occupational health and safety management system, and environmental management system.  It was issued at 1 February 2010 and signed by President Director.
