PT Darma Henwa Tbk for its corporate social responsibility has allocated funds with the coordination with other companies around the mining site. Darma Henwa believes that the local community is one of the most important elements that need to be developed. Our community plays an important role in achieving sustainable development in the future and we believe that to implement it, it needs to start from within ourselves and our community.

The Company in 2009 has been developing its first batch of local labors into skilled labor through GREEN TRAINING COURSE PATTERN 500 hours of 5 persons. This training activity lasted 10 months since April 22nd, 2009.

For  health checks and treatment on the community activities, the head of health centers had share knowledge on health issue for the elderly.  In addition, Darma Henwa help in providing clean water to Bengalon community and also participate in maintaining public roads, as well as development assistance places of worship such as mosques and churches.
